Description

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager with proven experience in the oil and gas construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth for the company’s construction services in upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 7+ years of sales experience in the oil and gas construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of oilfield services, pipelines, plant construction, and industrial infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing high-value client relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently to client sites, project locations, and networking events.
  • Knowledge of contracting models (EPC, EPCM, Design-Build, etc.) and regulatory frameworks in the oil and gas sector.

Preferred Skills:

  • Established network of contacts in the oil and gas industry.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to understand engineering project scopes and requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand customer base within the oil and gas construction sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including tenders, partnerships, and long-term contracts with EPCs, operators, and government entities.
  • Manage key accounts and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement, site visits, and effective communication.
  • Lead proposal development and bid submissions, working closely with estimating, engineering, and project management teams.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client developments to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote services and capabilities.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and ethical standards in all client interactions and sales activities.
